THE PARTYSPREE STORY | In 2002, a bored frustrated young man sitting in the small confines of corporate hell (aka a cubicle in a call center) decided that " Hey, why not build a website that let people know what's going on in South Florida. Not that it hasn't been done but I don't see any of the places I go to being advertised nowhere besides on flyers. Plus I go to so many diffent types of places, wouldn't it be cool to let other people know that other places exist besides the same handful of spots they go to every week.? Besides, he was tired of people calling him every weekend asking him "What's going on tonight?"
With that in mind, he set out to find a name fitting of this concept with the help of his fellow bored "Cubiclelanders". "Whatsgoingon.com" nope, already taken. PartyOverHere.com, already taken, party...blah..blah...blah.com. Nope ,too long; Nope, too wack, don't sound cool. Voila...."How about PartySpree". Yeah.. that could work. I'm feeling that. Hence the birth of the name PARTYSPREE.COM.
Next move was to build it. With no technical skills, (like knowing any of that web stuff like Java, C++, PHP, ABC, XYZ... rae..rae..rae) he set out to use what he knew. A designining program and a fairly simple website building program.. The rest is history.
THE DEAL | We don't do this for fame. We don't do this for hype. We don't do this to for style. We understand what we're doing. We feel what we're doing. We live what we're doing. We love what we are doing. Most impotantly, we are what we are doing. We believe in what we are doing. Nothing but sheer passion, work, dedication , focus. It's not about "being the shit" right now. It's about being the shit forever. It's not about getting into VIP, it's about being the VIP. It's not about pictures, it's about creating memories. It's about our audience, viewers, fans, supporters, peoples, sponsors and all. It's about the accomplishments, not the glory. PartySpree is about where u want to go, what u want to know, what u need to see, where u need to be...
